Each and every year at Memorial is one to remember. From the inspiring classes to after school study sessions, students strive to create an environment that can develop and make all their own.
When choosing their electives, undergraduates try to acquire experience on what career they want to pursue. Many courses for occupations that are offered are medical classes, photography/journalism, art, business marketing, and even culinary/cooking classes.
Koko Kakeue, a sophomore at Memorial, said, “I am looking forward to studying health science this year because I am really interested in the medical field,” she also stated, “I remember I had a really fun time last year,” in medical terminology class.
Evidently, the courses that are provided allow the students to explore several occupational paths with their interest to further their careers for the future.
Many students here at Memorial focus on social aspects of school and surround themselves with new and old peers.
Soha Azad, a sophomore, said, “the most interesting part of my year so far is hanging out with my friends and just meeting them again this year.”
These peers and/or friends can be fellow classmates and teammates on the field. Sports play a huge part in the school community. From the crowds at Friday night games to the spectators at the golf tournaments.
Sophomore at Memorial, Saniel Rostro, said that for this year he is excited about, “making varsity baseball.”
Overall, Memorial students are thrilled for an awesome year filled with new memories and new beginnings.
